MPM Kit #72022. 1/72 scale. This kit of early US Navy carrier twin-engine, XF5F-1 Skyrocket is the original issue released by MPM in 1993. This prototype was the first twin-engine a/c for carrier use and flew 211 test flights before it was damaged and removed from the active list. Model kit includes injection molded parts, clear parts, photo-etch, film and decals. Markings include US Navy.
