Squadron Models Kit #0001. 1/72 Scale. Highly detailed and original issued model kit by Squadron Models of the WWII German Flying Saucer, Haunebu II. The flying saucer was an aircraft secretly designed and tested by Germans to weaponize a new type of propulsion by "Gravity Bell" motor. The model kit includes a projectile cannon similar to a "rail-gun" that guided a "beam" that followed the projectile. Haunebu II included eight (8) of these beam guns in lower turrets and two (2) mounted in upper structure. Model kit includes 125 parts, removable boarding ramp with the finished model approx. 14" long. The interior is equally detailed with nine crew seats and consoles. Kit has the outer paper wrap around the box.
