Mirage Hobby #40042. 1/400 scale. Mirage Hobby issue released in the 1990s of German U-Boot U-511 Type IX. The Type IX was one of the most used U-Boats during the War. The Mirage kits are nicely engineered for a "short run" 1/400 scale model kit. Kit allows choice of IX B OR IX C and even an RO-500 (Japanese flag).
