AMT #S957 Star Trek Romulan "Bird of Prey"

AMT Model Kit #S957. 1/650 scale. AMT original 1975 issue of the Romulan Bird of Prey warship from the Original Star Trek TV show. Giant Bird of Prey decal included with the model kit. Models in the 1970s were marketed towards kids, exacting details were not the core focus of model designers. This issue of the model kit did not include the plasma weapon and the nacelle caps were ball-shaped, not hemispherical.
