Academy Kit #2155. 1/48 scale. Academy original issue of iconic US WWII fighter, P-47 Thunderbolt. The model kit is for the "N" variant P-47, one of the biggest single-piston engine fighter and included an auto-pilot system. Since produced later in 1944 this fast fighter saw limited action in the European Theater but provided heavy bomber support in the Pacific. Marking includes 456 FS 414 FG, Iwo Jima.
